Please contact us prior to departure if you are exceptionally large or small so we can arrange the correct equipment for you.

How big is the boat Sealife V and what facilities are on board?

Our vessel has:

  • A 13m/43ft Stebber hull.

  • A toilet.
  • Hot showers to rinse after a dive.
  • A galley where you will be served hot & cold finger food and soup between dives.
  • An oxygen unit.
What will be the maximum depths I will be diving?
Open water Certification instructs to depths of 18m.  Junior Open water Certification instructs to 12m

Where does the vessel Sealife V pickup from and how may I access these pickup points?
We have two pickup points north and south of the harbor.
On the south side we pickup at Rose Bay Wharf which is located inside Lyne Park found along New South Head Road at Rose Bay (approx 20min drive from City centre) and can be reached by the Rose Bay ferry, from Circular Quay, or by the Watson's Bay bus route, numbers 324 & 325, which also departs Circular Quay.
See here for ferry timetables
See here for times of the 324 & 325 bus routes (intermittently, the 323 can be used).
Journeys to Rose Bay can take 10 to 15 minutes by ferry; 45 minutes by bus (bus travel can be traffic dependent - please provide enough time for traffic delays!).
Taxis are also an option for travellers from Sydney's CBD - a taxi trip to Rose Bay may cost as much as AU$40.
Parking at Rose Bay is available - unlimited parking may be found directly out the front of the Lyne Park public amenities block (west side); all other parking zones within Lyne Park are 1hr - it is recommended that dive customers driving to Lyne Park, Rose Bay, use the 4 hr zones found intermittently along the adjacent main road, New South Head Road.
On the north side of the harbour we pick up at Manly Yacht Club, a short walk from Manly Ferry Terminus. Facing back towards Sydney on this terminus, you'll observe a pathway on your left leading around to the Yacht Club jetty - one of the small finger wharves jutting from the shore.

Our aim is always to offer our divers a safe and enjoyable experience. Below are reviews from customers who left use feedback on their experience.
I had a great time on the boat. Cody and Artur (the guides) were extremely professional and at the same time also very friendly and relaxed which made for a great vibe. The dives themselves were also very good and we got to see lots of grey nurse sharks and came into very close contact with them. Thanks guys. See you again by Richard Hudson - 16-Feb-2024
Another great day with ProDive by Angus Cameron - 16-Feb-2024
Our dive master Jacqui was amazing, very knowledgeable and experienced. by Marius Buitendag - 09-Feb-2024
Dylan was an excellent guide and made sure to check in with us, explain everything super clearly, make sure we were all ok, and show us some really cool things on our dives. A fantastic dive experience! by Lisa Gong - 28-Jan-2024
Met all expectations. The staff were friendly, funny and supportive. The equipment was all in good condition. by Naomi Gasser - 27-Jan-2024
Had the most amazing dive experience with Eric from prodive brookvale. Long reef is an incredible dive, friendly grey nurse sharks and soo many fish. Great visibility and great accommodating crew to dive with. Another favourite was a dive briefing afterwards, we had drinks, ate and had the best banter and talks about our oceans. Thank you for Eric for organising it and inspiring us to continue our dive journey. Met so many amazing people, would not recommend more!!💓thank you to Jasmine for pushing us through our dive through a bumpy boat ride, couldn’t have done it without you! by Arroj Bhutta - 27-Jan-2024
Wonderful dive masters and boat crew . by Visnja Kosanovic - 26-Jan-2024
Thanks for an awesome (first) boat dive experience with you. Apartments/Valley sites delivered - so many sharks! Sam (our guide) was simply the best. by Greg Bartlett - 21-Jan-2024
Another great diving experience with ProDive and the dive site location was altered based on conditions on the day and the dive crew experience of the scheduled dive site, a big thank you to the team to try to provide a memorable dive day. Cody managed the dive boat well and she was cheery to boot. We had a great skipper dealing with interesting swell and chop. Eric led our dive group and is wonderful in the way he finds and points out to all in the group what has been found. He always ensures that we are responsible for our dive but checks to make sure we are ok. His briefing after the dive transfers great knowledge to us about what we have witnessed - thanks Eric. by David Hind - 20-Jan-2024
cody was great! dive was a lot of fun, thanks for taking us out by grygoriy chernyshov - 20-Jan-2024
