Through no fault of Prodive we had unfortunately booked during a week where visibility was terrible. This was the only downside to the course. Others were given an option to reschedule and it was great that they tried to accomodate due to the conditions. Well organised course with very proficient instructors. Our group was led by Daniel who was patient, encouraging and supportive. His enthusiasm for the sport came across as he shares stories of his diving adventures which inspired my persistence, despite feeling anxious initially. I really enjoyed the last 2 dives. I wonder if for dives 1 or 2 whether doing the skills would have been better on dive 1, so more at ease in dive 2? It would also have been useful to have WiFi at the dive centre (particularly for overseas visitors who may not have data to access the website/download the log book). I was impressed with the quality of the staff and their passion for diving which they enjoyed sharing. I was amazed at their ability to instill calmness in the most nervous students while at the same time not holding back on the experience the most confident received. Learning to scuba dive has been on my bucket list for a while and I was putting it off due to some underlying anxiety! But Pro-Dive did a beyond excellent job in teaching me how to dive for the first time. The course is well-paced and all the instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In particular, my instructor Daniel Girao was great - one of the best teachers I’ve had in a long time! He made the experience fun, safe and engaging. My instructor was Daniel Giroa. He really made the weekend for me. He is extremely professional but made us all laugh and relax while learning our new underwater skills. He dedicated equal time to everyone in the group and he has the patience of a saint. I felt totally comfortable on the dives and I trusted Daniel completely which is very important when you are under water. I’ve enjoyed the course and the instructors were amazing! Great vibe during the weekend and although it are long hours the course was over before I knew. The only point to improve was that our instructors was just certified as instructor, so he was probably as excited as us to see thing in the water, so sometimes he wanted to see it and blocked the way for others where I felt he could have pointed things out to us more for us to see, but this is a minor point as het instructed us very well and again I had a great time!
