About the Advanced Course

If you are an Open Water Diver, you qualify to join our Advanced Adventurer Course, it does not matter whether you have minimal or lots of diving experience. The Advanced  course is 100 percent practical, with no written exam - only Knowledge Reviews on each Adventure Dive covered during the course. You will complete 5 training dives on this course. There are 2 core dives which cover underwater navigation and deep diving, as well as 3 Adventure Dives which include Wave, Currents and Tides, peak buoyancy and computer diver. You have the option of including Enriched Air course when you do our Advanced Open Water course. The Enriched Air Course starts with theory and you will complete 2 of your dives on Nitrox.

 

 

Minimim Certification
You need to be OpenWater Certified and must bring your certification.

Fitness to Dive

If you are 45 years or older you will need to get a Dive Medical regardless of whether you have any medical conditions or not.

Equipment Provided
Tanks, weight belt, weights are included in course cost.
Gear Hire is available and includes one piece wetsuit, buoyancy vest, regulator with dive computer, and dive torch. Snorkelling gear is not included

What you need to bring
You need to bring sunscreen, swimmers and a towel, some food or pocket money to buy some lunch.

Minimum age to complete the Advanced OpenWater Course.
The minimum age is 15 years. All students under 18 years of age will be required to provide signed parent or guardian consent form. This form is available at the Dive Centre. They will also need a parent or guardian to sign their medical questionnaire.
