Requirements

Medical conditionsSome conditions, like heart disease, asthma or epilepsy, may stop you diving. Tell us before you book if you have a medical condition.

Experience

  • None. This is for people who aren't certified divers.

Age

  • Minimum age 12. Under-18s need a parent or guardian consent form.

Medical

  • Complete the dive medical questionnaire.
  • A "yes" to any question, or being 60 or over, means you need a doctor to confirm you're fit to dive, at least 7 days before your session.

Dive training starts with the standard recreational diver medical questionnaire, the same wherever you train. What it involves, and when you need a doctor.
