Your adventure begins with two days of classroom and pool training at our state-of-the-art PADI 5 Star IDC dive center in Port Douglas. Our facility is designed for comfort and efficiency, featuring a heated dive pool and air-conditioned classrooms, providing the perfect environment to build your skills.
The real excitement unfolds during the two days of practical training on the Great Barrier Reef. You'll board a modern dive and snorkel catamaran, giving you access to some of the region’s most pristine and untouched dive sites.
Throughout the course, you’ll have the same experienced dive instructor by your side, ensuring personalized attention and a safe, thorough, and enjoyable learning experience. With small student-to-instructor ratios, you're guaranteed a professional and fun atmosphere.

The first two days of your PADI Open Water Dive Certification course are spent at our dedicated diver training center. Here, you’ll learn essential dive theory in a comfortable classroom setting and master the fundamental skills of scuba diving in our on-site pool.
The adventure continues on days three and four as you head out to the Great Barrier Reef aboard one of our custom-built dive and snorkel catamarans, Poseidon or Silversonic. Over these two days, you’ll complete four training dives at some of the reef’s most stunning dive sites.
By the end of Day 4, you’ll be a certified PADI Open Water Diver! And as a special bonus, you may even have the chance to enjoy two additional pleasure dives as a newly certified diver.
