Our reefs
The 3-day liveaboard moves between moorings across the outer reef to match the conditions.
- Flynn ReefNovice – experienced One of the most popular reefs, with moorings at well-known sites for every level. 25 mmax depth
- Milln Reef Resident turtles and white-tip reef sharks at Petaj, plus Whale Bommie and the Swimming Pools. 25 mmax depth
- Coral GardensAll levels Staghorn coral sheltered by Flinders Reef, often visited by loggerhead turtles.
- Pellowe Reef Near the continental shelf: drops to 30 m quickly. Weather dependent. 30 mmax depth
- Thetford Reef Coral bommies, wall dives and swim-throughs — visited in mild weather. 30 mmax depth

Turtles, reef sharks and schooling fish year-round — and in winter, the chance to swim with dwarf minke whales.
Before you travel
- Get to Cairns the day before
Liveaboards pick up from Cairns City accommodation from about 6:15 am.
- Dive medicals
Dive courses need a dive medical. Sort it out before you arrive. More →
- Flying after diving
Allow 24 hours between your last dive and your flight home.
