The dive
Coral Gardens is a big stretch of staghorn coral, best dived at around 5 to 12 metres. Tropical fish dart in and out of the coral, and loggerhead turtles often visit.
It suits all levels and is a favourite with underwater photographers.
Conditions and tips
- Depth: 3 to 14 metres.
- Visibility: 15 to 35 metres.
- Where: a mooring on Flynn Reef, protected from the prevailing south-easterly winds.
- Guiding: dives aren’t guided. The dive supervisor gives a full briefing before every dive.
