The dives
South West Point drops to about 25 metres along walls and caverns. Safety Bay is protected from the prevailing winds, which makes it a good choice for learners and for days when the open side is rough.
What lives here
Bream, drummer and blue gropers shelter around the caverns and walls.
The island
Boondelbah is a nature reserve and a breeding site for the threatened Gould’s petrel and for little penguins. Landing is only allowed for scientific and conservation work, so enjoy it from the water.
