How partner trips work

  1. 1Book with Pro Dive

    Book online or through either Sydney dive centre. We answer your questions and handle the booking.

  2. 2Get the operator’s paperwork

    Each operator’s own medical and waiver requirements are emailed with your booking confirmation.

  3. 3Check in with the operator

    On the day, the operator runs the trip. Check-in details are in your confirmation.

Know before you go

About dive medicals →
  • What to bring
    • Bathers and a towel
    • Warm clothes — it’s cool on the water even in summer
    • Polarised sunglasses to spot sharks from the deck
    • Sunscreen, soft-soled boat shoes and a reusable bottle
    • Small bags please — space is limited
  • Ages
    • Under 8: in the water at the skipper’s discretion (cage diving)
    • Under 16: adult supervision at all times, in the water together
    • Under 18: waiver signed by a parent or guardian
  • On board
    • 7 mm wetsuit, hood, boots, gloves and mask supplied for cage diving
    • GoPro hire on board
    • Vessels are cashless — card only
    • Non-swimmers can watch the sea lions from the tender
  • Getting there
    • Port Lincoln is 280 km from Adelaide (646 km by road)
    • Sea lion swim transfers from accommodation: $15 return, book by 5:30 pm the day before
