Welcome Tommy Christmas

Hi there! 

My name is Tommy Christmas, and I am the newest addition to the PRO DIVE team.  I will be interning with PRO DIVE for the next 10 weeks as part of a Study Abroad Program.  One of my many jobs here is to blog about recent scuba diving events, news, and anything happening in the industry.  I would be happy to read any of your feedback - good or bad!  I have never dived before, but have a trip planned for spring break through PRO DIVE that I cannot wait to go on.  I?ll be sure to talk about that in a later blog. As I am new to the diving world, please let me know what type of things you are interested in hearing about.  

So a little about me....well I am a third year student currently studying at the University of New South Wales, living right in Coogee.  I am originally from Acton, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, and attend Boston College where I?m studying Marketing and Information Systems.  I am a huge fan of all Boston area sports teams.  I love to golf, ski, and play ice hockey, although while I?m here I might have to give field hockey a try.  Some friends and I took a trip out to the Blue Mountains yesterday and hiked all through the valley, getting pelted with hail and rain for half the journey.  It was worth it though, as the views were unbelievable.  I plan to take more weekend trips to Brisbane, Melbourne, and other cities along the east coast during my stay.  That?s enough about me, so here?s to the next ten weeks being as amazing as the first four have been.
