About our Try Dives
Check in is at PRO DIVE Coogee where you will complete paperwork and be fitted for gear hire. Onto the PRO DIVE Bus and off to your shore dive. Your day will start with a Safety Briefing and then into the water. You can book for 1 or 2 shore dives. At the beginning of the first dive you will be shown and asked to practice basic skills - these are the first skills all divers do on the Open water Course. Time to check out the marine life - you will then continue the dive under the supervision of your dive instructor. If you have chosen to book onto the Scuba Introductory Dive to include 2 dives - you will have a short break after the first dive (this is called a surface interval). During the break you will change over your scuba cylinder and your dive instructor will give you more information about the marine life you can expect to see. This programme does not allow you to dive independently on completion.
What will you see?
The scuba diving in Sydney is temperate water diving, with an influence of our warmer tropical water to our North. We have a wide variety of marine life including the worlds largest cuttle fish up 1.5 meters in length, sea horses, Blue Gropers, Wobbegong sharks and a host of other marine life. Whilst on the tour we will try and introduce you to our resident Blue Gropers , Octopus, Giant Cuttlefish and if we are really lucky a Weedy Sea Dragon. Fiddler Rays and Wobbiegong Sharks, both harmless, are also residents.
The Scuba Introductory Dive makes a perfect Gift
Gift vouchers can be purchased Online and are valid for 12 months.
