Itinerary

Instructor Training Prep/Dive Con

The Instructor curriculum is structured upon the expectation that all candidates have retained the exemplary diving skills and thorough understanding of the dive theory topics that they developed during their Dive Control Specialist training. Prep is for those who may have taken a little break between programs and might be a bit "rusty". PRO DIVE'S experienced staff will provide the tuition and coaching necessary to re-hone your skills and knowledge back to the requisite standard for the ITC.

One Evening plus weekend

Instructor Training Course
Your Instructor Course is completed over an 8 – 10 day block. This course will expand on the teaching , presentation and sales skills you have already acquired, plus boost industry knowledge and ensure you are able to present and teach in a professional and safe manner.

Instructor Evaluation
To gain your OpenWater Instructor Certfication you need to complete an offical evaluation which is conducted over 2 days by an independent certifier. You'll be asked to demonstrate your teaching ability, rescue ability and understanding of dive theory. The IE is pass-fail.
