Eager to explore the underwater world? Our Discover Scuba Diving experience welcomes everyone - no prior diving experience is required! Dive into the thrill of scuba diving under the watchful eye of our certified instructors.
From the moment you step on board, our expert instructors are with you every step of the way. They'll guide you through a comprehensive dive briefing, familiarize you with the equipment, and ensure your dive is both comfortable and exhilarating.
As we journey to the Reef, our team evaluates the readiness of our aspiring divers. You'll need to fill out some paperwork, including a medical questionnaire, and learn the essentials of scuba diving, including equipment usage. We've got a brief video and quiz to get you started, and we provide all necessary gear - wetsuits and prescription masks included, all within the introductory dive package.
Upon reaching the Reef, gear up on the dive deck and prepare for your underwater journey. Your instructor will review the basic skills to ensure you're dive-ready. The Great Barrier Reef, known for its shallow dives, offers depths up to 12 metres (40 feet) for your exploration.
Your instructor will be with you every step of the way, ensuring you feel secure and confident. If desired, you can stay close and even link arms. The dive typically lasts about 30 minutes underwater. If you find yourself enchanted by the experience, seize the opportunity for a second dive at a different site to discover another facet of the reef's beauty!

DIVE MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE
The purpose of this Medical Questionnaire is to find out if you should be examined by a physician before participating in recreational diving. A positive response to a question does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. A positive response means there is a pre-existing condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of a physician. Please answer the following questions on your past and present with a YES or NO. If you are not sure, answer YES. If any of these items apply to you, we must request that you consult with a physician prior to participating in scuba diving. Your instructor will supply you with a PADI Medical Statement and Guidelines for Recreational Scuba Diver’s Physical Examination to take to a physician.
