Pro Dive was established in Sydney in 1969 and has been teaching people to dive for over 40 years. When you complete one of Pro Dive's learn to dive courses, you will become a qualified Open water Diver and your Dive Ticket allows you to dive anywhere in the world. To book onto a course , you need to be able to swim, be at least 12 years of age and before you start a course you will be required to undertake a a Dive medical and for Australia you are required to do the Australian Standards Dive Medical.

Become a PADI Openwater Scuba Diver with Pro Dive Mallorca. Your training will start at home with PADI E Learning and you will complete all your practical training here at our Centre at Port de Pollenca
You are already PADI Scuba Diver and now want to achieve certification as a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Open Water Diver/ PADI Open Water Diver. The course is presented over 2 to 3 days and consists of theory, one confined water sessions and three/ two open water dives. Knowledge of basic diving theory of chapters 4 and 5 are covered in home studies, by DVD and instructor presentations. Diving skills will be refreshed and newly developed in the pool and on the final day of the course, you complete 3/ 2 training dives under the supervision of your instructor. These dives take place to a maximum depth of 18 m on the beautiful reefs of the Mediterranean. You can also add the Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Specialty to your course.
The added difference that in to the Open Water Diver course is the addition you will get a theoretical and practical introduction in the Enriched Air Nitrox Diver. In dive 4 of your Open Water Diver course you will practise the new Nitrox knowledge also under water. After completion of your Open Water Divers course you can also do an additional dive to complete your Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Specialty.
This is a full PADI Open Water Diver course with the difference that in addition you will get a theoretical and practical introduction in the Digital Underwater Photography. In dive 4 of your Open Water Diver course you will practise the new photo knowledge also under water. This program covers automatic photography without the use of artificial light. You will learn about the possibilities of a point-and-shoot camera, how to use manual white balance, ISO settings and colour correction filters. After completion of your Open Water Divers course you can also do an additional dive to complete your Digital U/ W Photography Specialty. Then you will also learn how to use histograms, about some important features of file-formats, resolution, picture composition, sorting and organizing.
Pro Dive offers you the chance to learn to dive in Spain. This is the first course available under PADI to achieve certification as an Open Water Diver. It is the pre-requisite course for any further training. Armed with your Open Water Diver card, the diving world is your oyster as the certification will be recognised at dive centers around the globe. You also have the chance to enhance your Open Water Diver experience with the Dry suit specialty. The course is presented over 4 to 5 days and consists of academics, several confined water sessions and four open water dives. Knowledge of basic diving theory is covered by video/ DVD and instructor presentations, diving skills are developed in the pool and on the final 2 days of the course, you complete 4 training dives under the supervision of your instructor. These dives take place to a maximum depth of 18 m on the beautiful reefs of the Mediterranean. Age: from 10 years old, Duration: 4 - 5 days
