Terms and Conditions

PRO DIVE Central Coast Open Water Diver Course

Terms and Conditions

Please drop into the PRO DIVE Central Coast Store ASAP to pick up your PADI  Open Water manual as you must complete the knowledge reviews prior to the course start dates.
Please contact PRO DIVE Central Coast at least 72 hours prior to start date to reconfirm your booking.

Non English PADI manuals are available at an additional cost. Please advise the store at time of booking as they will need to be ordered in. They do not come in all languages.

Where PRO DIVE cancels events, full refunds or alternatives will be offered. No refunds apply where customers fail to arrive by the published departure times for course. All make up dives to complete diver training will incur a $100 fee per session over and above course cost.
PRO DIVE management will make the final decision on dive sites- Sites may change due to  weather conditions each day.

No refunds are payable by PRO DIVE where notification is received less than 7 days prior to the booked event. Alternative dates will be offered where a minimum of 3 days notification is given prior to booked event.

If you cancel for any other reason, you will incur a $100 administration fee.

The program involves both Pro-Dive Central Coast and its clients in significant investments of time and money. For this reason a number of conditions apply once a booking is made. Like other reputable companies we strive to be open and clear about our obligations.

For example, once a client has enrolled for a program or course commencing upon our published date, a place is reserved at Pro-Dive for that person. At the same time, bookings are made with other parties including Instructors and dive boats. We honour the reservation by not advertising or reselling to another person. Sometimes people have been refused entry onto a program or course because it is fully booked.

Here at Pro-Dive Central Coast we regard a booking as a firm commitment. Occasionally we know things just happen and changes need to be made.

Transport to and from the dive sites is also not included.

When using your own equipment, PADI standards require that Buoyancy Control Devices be fitted with power inflator and whistle. An emergency signaling device (safety sausages) is to be carried in BCD pockets at all times, as are tables and a slate. Regulators must be fitted with an alternative air source and compass.

I have read the above booking conditions and agree to pay a $100 cancellation/transfer fee for any changes to my reservation within seven days of starting this program.
Even a failed medical, this is why we request you to book and have your medical at least seven days prior to your course start date.

Please remember:
1.   You must complete a medical check up. Must be current within 12 months of course.
2.   AS4005.1 Medical Forms available from Pro-Dive Central Coast.
3.   The scuba program must be paid for in full, at time of booking course start date.
4.   Any changes or transfers of course dates inside 7 days will incur a $100 transfer fee.
5.   Once a program has commenced, refunds or partial refunds are not possible.
6.   I agree to read the relevant manual/s and hand in the knowledge reviews as set out for the particular program before the course commences.
